Becoming is operated by Jose Eduardo Chavez ("we", "us", "the seller"). By creating an account, subscribing, or continuing to use the service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction or have authority to accept them on behalf of your organization.

Becoming is a personal growth service delivering inspirational content — spiritual, biblical, motivational, literary, and poetic messages — by email and in-app, together with a private vision journal, guided reflections, imagery, and narrated samples. Features vary by plan and may evolve over time.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information — including your name, email, and message preferences — and to keep it up to date.

You must not misuse the service. This includes unlawful use, fraud or spam, infringing anyone's intellectual property, and interfering with the security or operation of the service (including introducing malware, probing, or scraping). You must not reverse engineer the service, resell or redistribute it, or circumvent plan limits.

We retain all ownership of the service and its intellectual property, including software, written content, generated imagery and narration, documentation, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your selected plan.

Journal entries and anything you submit remain yours. You grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide the service — for example, to shape your personalized messages. We never use your private entries to train AI models and never share or quote them publicly.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms, available at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You may pause or cancel at any time; your access continues through the end of the current paid billing period. See our Refund Policy for our money-back guarantee.

We work hard to deliver your messages reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. The service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Messages are intended to motivate, support, and guide daily life. They are not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate. Always use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional where appropriate.

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When access ends, you may request an export of your journal entries within 30 days, after which your data may be deleted as described in our Privacy Notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages such as loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law requires otherwise.

These terms are between you and Jose Eduardo Chavez, doing business as Becoming, and are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. You may not assign your account without our consent; we may assign these terms in connection with a merger or acquisition. We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
